There has been a huge increase in the number of new people looking to trade, especially in return for cash.
This is great news for everyone, we get the referrals we need and you guys get our money, but alot of you are asking for us to clarify the rules or how these sites work, which is fine, but this may make it easier for not only us, but yourselves also.
[bfe1595bd56]Please take the time to read these important threads. Trust me, they're not the usual bumf on rules etc. They will not only make things go smoother for all of us, but protect you against scammers and cut down on some confusion.[/bfe1595bd56][/colorfe1595bd56][/sizefe1595bd56]

I've not referenced this topic in my trade thread )

I'm totally new here and am confused about the following
Once you accept a trade, go to a site, sign up and complete an offer, are you then restricted from doing another trade and offer on that same site?
In other words are you limited to completing only one referral per site?
I ask this because last night I signed up on a site and completed a trade. Today, somebody sent me a different link but for the same site that I had already joined. Since I was already a member, I backed off because I didn't know what to do.
As I said, I'm totally new to all this so, if the questions sounds dumb, that's why.

Fitz, you're right on the money there. You can only sign up for each site once and you can only do each offer once. If you break either of these rules, you'll most likely go on hold and your referral won't count for the other person and you wouldn't be allowed to complete the site (or any other sites on that network). If you have any other questions, feel free to ask because it's better to know for sure rather than take chances. Good luck!

[quote2c15e23313="Trading Post Guidelines"]--Trade Record--
a. After you have completed a trade with another user, use the Trade Module to "Request TR" so that both parties may receive a trade record point.
If both users have less than 4 TR...
You may not receive credit for your trade. [/quote2c15e23313]
This is important for many people who are trying to build a Trade Record so they don't have to go first all the time. It also protects you from parties who don't intend on carrying through on their side of the agreement.
[quote2c15e23313="Trading Post Guidelines"]b. Do not create a new post more than once per 3 days. Also, do not 'bump' your post more than once per 24 hours (1 day). When the 3 days are up, you may choose to create a new thread, or bump an existing thread, but you cannot do both.[/quote2c15e23313]
I've seen this rule broken tons of times in the past couple of days. I understand that people are finishing sites really quickly due to the large pool of available referrals. However, please try to use the "edit"' button to change your post to include your new details. It helps keep the Trading Post from getting too cluttered with posts from the same person over and over.

Yes, please be careful replying to topics. Use quick reply when you can. If clicking the "post reply" button, make sure you don't hit "new topic". I believe a lot of new threads get started that way by accident.

So this is the new year.
And I don't feel any different.
The clanking of crystal
Explosions off in the distance (in the distance).
So this is the new year
And I have no resolutions
For self assigned penance
For problems with easy solutions
So everybody put your best suit or dress on
Let's make believe that we are wealthy for just this once
Lighting firecrackers off on the front lawn
As thirty dialogs bleed into one
I wish the world was flat like the old days
Then i could travel just by folding a map
No more airplanes, or speed trains, or freeways
There'd be no distance that could hold us back.
There'd be no distance that could hold us back.
So this is the new year.

As stated many times already, the big red box will not be removed, regardless of how many times you read this thread or the threads this links to.
If you're having trouble initiating trades with other members, chances are that you're using Internet Explorer (not sure if it's just IE7 or all versions) when trying to initiate.
Solution 1 Click on Tools - Internet Options - Trusted Sites - Slide the slider until you can Initiate Trades or Edit existing Trades.
Solution 2 Click on Tools - Internet Options - Security - Lower your security to as low as it will allow you to. Initiate or Edit applicable Trades and Reset your Security level back to what it was initially.

yes
because you'll have the same IP adress and you will be put on hold on sites
so don't do it
if you have friends with separate adresses, then yes

No, but I don't recommend having more than 3 unfinished trades because you might get overwhelmed and piss off people. 8)[/quote7e9a0027fa]
^^ I made that mistake. Got into the rush of it and gettin em all done quick then got caught up on the offers and even had a couple people i told ok to and ended up having an acct on that site already. Never hurts to take your time with things. Patience is a virtue.

I am also a newbie. Have done some referrals but have yet to see any cash. I was approach on another forum email about doing some referrlas. i did 1 out of the two bc the second site never processed the infoo. It was very slow plus it had alot of mispellings. Never got paid for the first one even though I emailed a guy named "batman".

Is it acceptable to set the terms of a trade to say it expires in 7days, 14 days, 30 days, etc. By expire I mean the trade becomes null and void.
In other words I think there should be a definite ending period of the trade set at the beginning of the trade.
What is the ruling on this.

Yes you can set whatever rules you want about the trade!
I think it is important to be clear about the trade. Give details short and sweet.
communication with your trade partner is also very important!
If you are not sure [b42ad4af110]ASK![/b42ad4af110] That way you will not be surprised when finishing the deal.
HAPPY TRADING!!

	hi-
i need help. i checked my credit card transactions online and it showed 2 $1.00 pendings for shopping essentials. i have been keeping track of all offers completed. i don't know how that happened. is that going to screw things up for me as far as completing any further offers or referrals. i just started doing this last thurs. and am getting very discouraged. i have also completed several offers and did not receive any credit for them.
i just hope i haven't ruined my chances of being able to continue working at this if i have somehow accidentally signed up for 2 trials. i have been very careful to keep track so i am not sure how that could have happened.
thanks- any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Just a very good suggestion from a trader who has been here a while.......[/color32f9840f3e]
Many times people will come here to scam people. They make up fake names and attempt to do the same site multiple times. To help everyone help stop scammers.
[b32f9840f3e]PLEASE INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE SITE IN THE FEEDBACK YOU GIVE When completing a trade. [/b32f9840f3e] This will help us stop these scammers a little sooner by allowing everyone to see the trades done by a trader when looking at their profile.[/size32f9840f3e][/color32f9840f3e]
Trade safe everyone!

	Just asking...
When you say BUMP you mean put back to the top.
When you say new topic, instead of bump, you mean a whole new Site topic. I have read and stuff. But what does EDIT the already topic days alloweed. Say for instance one day I say I am a Newbie looking for a Newbies help and list 3 sites and the needed referral to complete and then I want to edit that and add 2 more sites on there how many days do I need to wait.
Is it still 24hrs to Bump and 3days to bump or new topic. But is it 3days from the last bump or 3days from the last dated new topic posted.
I hope you understand my question..

I'm sorry that your question appears to have gone unanswered, but if anybody is still wondering, edits do not count and can be done anytime. Editing a post does not bump it, which is why editing is the proper way to update a trading post that cannot be bumped yet.

The stop typing PM'd means that if you post on someone's thread with a question or inquiry to work with them - they ask that you give some information and not just put PM'd. which means you private messaged them.
