the offers of doom are only on OC (offer centric) sites, when you get close to completing the site.
if you have 4 green on mp3players4free, they take away all the cheap offers, and introduce nice expensive casino or hosting offers to make it more difficult for you to get your item.

yeah if you ever do an OC site, then just make sure that the person tells you, or sends you the offers that they have.

OC has a tendency to arbitrarily disqualify users as well, and its customer service is canned for the most part.
