Have you ever seen a referral link like this?
http//www.premiumipods.freepay.com/default.aspx?referer=someonesemail@hotmail.com
(This is not the exact link - this is just to illustrate the link I was given.)
Is this kind of link valid?

I played around with it and I used my e-mail that I signed up for in it and it doesn't give my referal ID. I used some random e-mail addresses and some that don't exist and got random referal IDs. Don't trust it.

I don't think it's a scam - a newbie gave me this link, which I knew looked weird, but I figured it might be a new way to refer folks. I've gone green, but apparently it didn't show up on her site. ( Jake's checking on it for me.
Thanks,

I don't think its a scam, but I think the chances are high for you to sign up under the wrong referal ID or not at all.

Never seen anything like that before, especially not for Freepay.

Damn. What's my responsibility to this person if I she provided a bad referral link and I went green, but not on her account?
She's also been out of touch for about a week, but hopefully I can track her down via her e-mail address.

You could ask Jake to switch the credit from one account to the correct account. I don't undserstand how she got that referral link in the first place.

Jake's already told me he can't link my green with her account. (

When you used the refer people email address page back a couple of years ago, didn't the recipients get links like that?
