Do simon giftcards work? I've seen them mentioned over here and picked up one last year. I used freeipods.com and it went thru but then when they went thru the approval process 2 of my referrals were rejected, and I think I allowed those 2 to use my simon.com giftcard (on different offers). Now I bought this simon giftcard at the mall so it says valued guest or something as the name, if I bought it online it would have my name on it, would that make a difference?
As a summar
1/ do simon cards bought in person work?
2/ do the ones bought online work?
and this is not ther eason im posting but if someone can shed some light on why freeipods.com would have rejected 2 of my people do share the opinion. i know i let them use my credit card but i also let someone else use my proper credit card (the non-prepaid) and that went fine. i might have even let 2 people use it.
plz advise D
cheers!

...You let them use your card?
That's a big no-no right there.
If you use the gift cards properly, they work fine.

They work but fraud doesn't and you letting someone else use your card giftcard or real cc is against TOS of any site. Really only takes common sense to figure your problem out.

I was just saying no it's not allowed by the freesites. It would kind of defeat the purpose of refs if they allowed that wouldn't it? Also it must not work too good if they both got revoked.

You really aren't supposed to do that. That post was from a year ago, when low key fraud used to be somewhat acceptable, and a 'if you can get away with it, do it' mentality existed. Thats no longer the case.

Yeah exactly, just because you can get away with it doesn't mean it's ok. One person telling you it's ok to do something isn't much to go on either. Plus obviously you didn't get away with it so all this is pointless.
