Big hassle with Gratis to get credit for an offer

So, this all started about 2 almost 3 weeks ago when I started a trade with vulcan300 and I agreed to do his freedesktoppcs for my freegamingsystems. Well I signed up and completed the Appera whitening offer but I never received a confirmation email. So I waited 2 days and still no confirmation or charge on my card so I completed the Lifederma offer. 2 days later, I receive my Appera whitening and get charged. So I patiently wait 15 days, still no credit, an open a support ticket. They tell me to copy the confirmation email and I copy the Lifederma confirmation and tell them I don't have one for Appera. They reply, and say to give them a copy of my credit card statement or invoice. So I give them both of those for Appera. Then they reply back today "In order to receive proper credit for completing an offer to your account, please copy and paste the ENTIRE confirmation email from the completed offer. Please be sure to include the header that shows the date and sender. We ask this because we need as much information when crediting your account. Thank you for your cooperation." WTF! I say, and then I check my email and there's a notice from Notebooks4free.com saying that I've just received credit for completing my Appera whitening offer, even though I completed Stamps.com for that site A MONTH AGO!

So I now have to deal with 2 companies and I've got support tickets going on for both of them. I just want to get credited for this dam thing.

Once you get credit on one site, they won't ever switch it over.

Especially if its between two different companies! roll

wow. thats messed up, see if gratis will credit you for LifeDerma.. don't worry about Appera..

how can credits be transferred between companies?

Gratis has some system issues sometimes, although they will never admit it. One of my iPod referrals completed an offer and it showed up under his gaming systems account where he had already completed another offer. Gratis said that wasn't possible, it must have been his mistake and that credit can not be transferred between offers. Oh well, I figure, he just goofed up and logged into the wrong site. He swore he didn't, and then I start seeing other people reporting the same thing. I think it's a cookie issue or something. Anyway, he completes a 2nd offer for me so I can get credit, and this time it works and I get my iPod. All is well.

Now just last week, I'm returning the favor and signing up under FreeGamingSystems for this same friend. He PM's me his referral link, which I click. He gave me the referral link that Gratis sent with his welcome e-mail, the one with his e-mail address instead of the one with the referral ID that most people use. I click his link and it takes me to the site. I notice the "You were referred by XXXXXXX" in the registration box, so I assume it's his referral ID. I sign up and then message my friend asking if he shows my signup. He says yeah, it just appeared. So I go and complete an offer, and I get credit the next day. I ask him to confirm that I'm green, and he says no, still yellow. Come to find out this yellow he has WAS NOT ME! It's somebody he doesn't know, and he hasn't given his link out in public -- only to friends. And it showed up within minutes of ME signing up, which is why he thought it was mine. I submitted a ticket saying I think that some referrals got crossed up and mine went to someone else while someone else's went to my friend. Gratis tells me that isn't possible, and that [b5ca765042e]I didn't signup under anybody![/b5ca765042e] Which I know is wrong because (a) I clicked his link and (b) I saw a referral ID in the signup box. It's not like it's the first time I've done one of these. So my friend gets screwed out of a referral, as this strange yellow of his has never gone green and I can't signup again obviously for the same offer.

I think Gratis has some serious system problems that they need to take a look at. I appreciate what they're doing and understand they probably get a lot of crackpot complaints, but they can't stick their head in the sand and act like it's impossible they have any issues and that everybody with a problem is an idiot. I am an I.S. professional myself, I've been engineering systems for nearly 20 years now -- I know that systems can have glitches, and with what I've seen these are glitches. I just wish Gratis would listen up...

my Freeipods account as well as FreeiPodShuffle accounts were both credited with completing offers, and I never completed offers for either of those sites.

I thought it was kinda cool, but not good for Gratis. oh well....
