Sadly, Cardinal Ratzinger is already being called Pope John Paul III. The implication being that he is as conservative as PJPIII was, and will not be welcoming of new ideas into the church. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

Yes, he's as if not more so hardlined as JP II. But he is also 78. The committee picked an older guy for a reason - they learned a lesson about a long term pope, and they are trying to find ways around that now.

More often than not, we "grammar nerds" will overlook the errors, but when made while attempting to insult others...its pretty tough to pass that up! lol
