Since Offercentric has now 4 book clubs, I thought I'd join one.
The trouble is I can't find 5 book I like from their meager list. Who reads the book by the pope and then about politics and then about crime and then maybe Grisham and then diet books and French Women Don't Get Fat.
I also have a sneaking suspicion that the selection is more favorable for women readers.
So, anyone feel the same way?

I guess if you want to read them then the trial books suck, but you should just get the ones that sell for the most and sell them on ebay...then you can order books you actually want when your a member and the whole selection is opened up to you. The most I've sold one for is blood brother sold for $17. The Da Vinchi Code and The Rising also sell pretty good

Zooba has a nice selection, but the rest are pathetic.
I don't care if it's a best-seller, I don't want to read it!

If you sign up for literary guild, you can call them once you get your books and say you don't like the books you chose. They'll send you a pre-paid postage label and return the books for ones you like. That's what I did.

I read the latest Grisham, the Broker. Wow, that was terrible.
The whole book is about stuffing himself with Italian food and flirting with an Italian travel guide. The rest is just stuff he put in to make it into a Grisham book.
I used to like Crichton but lately his books have been terrible. "The State of Fear" is so crap. The last book about time travel is not even par with a Star Trek time travel episode.
I'm exicited about the half blood prince though!

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but has anyone has luck getting fast credit for Literary Guild or Mystery Guild on an OC site? I'm just about out of options for my offer on PSPs4Free and need to do an offer.

they have some decent books, but yea their overall selection is pretty bad, but if ur only required to buy around 3-4 books to get credit for completing an offer, then u should be able to find that many decent books off the book club sites
i've signed up to zooba and literary guild, i personally like them but but yes the book selection could definetly be better
