Don't pay anyone to tell you how to do it. There's a wealth of information available online for it.
Basically, you sign up for a few hundred domains, put a blog type software on each one, make a single website to post entries on all of those at the same time. Wait until those blog sites get indexed by google, and then post a message with a link to your website saying "Free Ipods" or whatever. Then, once those blogs get indexed again, your site will be waay higher for "Free Ipods".

That still sounds completely complicated. How would i sign up for a few hundered domains? Wouldnt that cost quite a bit? it doesnt sound worth it. Are there any better ways to get traffic that are easier but still effective?

Yeah, it would cost a bit, and it would require significant amount of time and skill. If you just have some personal site or something, definitely not worth it.
If you don't want to do that, you can try and start a "fire"... But that doesn't work for advertising, only for amusing things. For example, go onto a forum and tell everyone to link the phrase "french military victories" to so-and-so page... People will find it funny and they'll do it on their own blogs. Eventually, you get the first result here http//www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=french+military+victories&btnG=Google+Search
As for other ways to get traffic... No idea. All the sites I've ever made were fueled by nothing but word of mouth.

Yes there are alot more ways to get traffic in a LEGAL way. Unbeknowenst to many bombers is that this breaks the Google SEO code and will event in a blacklisting of your IP address!

The google page rank algorithm is based on number of other pages pointing t that site.
If you search for "free ipod", this site is like 3rd or 4th in google. This is because hundreds of sites have links on them that point to this site.
So, to google bomb, you own all the sites that link to your site. To google, it appears that your site is really popular and so it ranks it higher.
That is google bombing.
