I have a majorly annoying problem with my internet, I have insightbb and I called them today and they said nothing is wrong with the modem. I have all 3 of my computers running through a Netgear WGT624 and I have these ping spikes every 50 seconds or so. Its possibly one of the most annoying things I have ever seen because I get lagged or disconnected in games and on programs like AIM. I have a WEP, and my connection on this computer is usually Very Good or Excellent. I even moved the computer like 20 feet away from the router in clear Line of sight and it still spikes. I ping websites like insight.com and ign.com and its like 30ms and then BOOM 1548ms and back, sometimes it comepletely looses packets. Anyone know what the problem is???? I doubt Netgear can help, i just got the router last week. WTF???????
