yea, I happened to find this...I don't believe that the "super" network is advertising this site yet, but here it is http//www.super3604free.com.
They have it as 8 referrals. I'm still gonna wait until the official price is announced and OC/Gratis makes a site. 8)

Correct me if im wrong, but Microsoft already said they will most likely be starting off teh xbox 360 @ $299.99 or in the vicinity of that price. They said they wanted to keep its original base price as low as possible to start off with.

They will subsidize the console price and make their money back on games and accessories. A +400 console would be too much of a niche market. It needs to be 300-350 just like the PS2 launch price.

the specs im hearing about the xbox 360 are quite insane
its cpu is gonna run at 3.2ghz!!!! common sense tells me that they need to sell it at under 400$ in order to attract buyers but i just dont see how they can do that....

They lose money on it just like they have on every other console. Game systems have always made their money on the games and not the system.
And 3.2ghz seems to be the standard now. PS3 will be using the same chip.

The Xbox 360 is suppose to sell for $300. Think about it, when is the last time you saw a system sell off the shelf for $400, you can't thats an unrealistic price. Besides, they barely profit off of systems, Gamecube actually lose money when they sell a system..... Gaming Industry make money off the games which are obviously very cheap to make and can have seemingly infinite copies.

I just like how you can tell them to stop reviewing your account and place your order and they ACTUALLY do it..makes shit go 10x faster.
