"Dude you got a Dell!" (it was something like that) should actually be "Dude, you got SCREWED!"
I'm not buying a Dell PC anymore! They simply suck ;( In the last 4 or 5 months, the notebook broke not once, not two times, but 4 times! I was thinking of selling it, but as it broke down yesterday (again) I guess I'm stuck with it ...
Where should I start? First time - the CPU fan stopped working. Ok, it happens - I changed it. Bought some extra cooling as well. Worked nice for a while. Two months later - guess what, the CPU fan broke [b29838f0045]again[/b29838f0045]. Changed it again. Soon I started noticing very strange crashes once in a while. Checked everything, ran the diagnostics - everything was fine. Cleaned it thoroughly - nothing. Two days later it just didn't want to start. Called a tech center nearby for a price quote. Good luck with paying for it out of the warranty service - $150 just for checking what's wrong? Flilili that. I tried to turn it on - wow it worked. DIdn't have problems recently, until yesterday. Left just for an hour to do some shopping just before the end of the semester, got home - guess what - it crashed, and didn't want to start at all ( And this is just a week before I was going to sell it, and get close to $1000 from it.
Advice - NEVER buy a Dell without AT LEAST 3 year warranty service. Chances something wrong is going to happen are close to 100%.

Oh Dude you don't know? Its a conspiracy from all the laptop companies, they build your laptops from China depending on if you took warranty or not. If you get 3-4yr warranty they are going to build it better because supposedly your laptop wont break down and they profit that warranty money, on the other hand if you dont take warranty..well your SOL.

And hell, my next laptop is going to be ThinkPad T43 - just to complete two-three freebie sites, and I'll be fine ;)
