I started a cash trade here where I paid up front first, gave the other party my signup link. They said they signed up and completed an offer, however they don't even show up in my referral list. I confirmed I gave them the correct link by double checking my AIM log and it matches my sign up link as specified on the Xbox site. Anyone else run into this issue? What the heck could have happened short of accusing the other party of scamming? I hate losing money over stupid stuff like this!

Thanks.

The person you traded with has a TR of what?

Also.. ive heard of problems like this happening with Netscape and some other browsers that may have cookies disabled.

They have a TR of 30 so it's not like there was any bad history there. I'll ask them about the Netscape deal.

If they have a TR of 30, chances are they know not to use Netscape and to have their cookies enabled... What member is this?

according to the stats, hes the only +30 trader.

I cant vouch for him, because Ive never traded with him.. but as far as I know, hes a respected trader here and I doubt he'd scam anyone.

It's Gratis' may of making a few more bucks =\ (personal opinion) Has happened several times with trades I have watched and the person signing up does nothing wrong. It's just Gratis doing something (who knows what) and the referral not showing up under the referer. Has been happenening more and more recently.
