Because people are generally lazy... or stupid.

Paypal is more well known. Like Mircosoft and IBM, paypal joining with ebay in its early days ensured its survival. Ebay makes everything very easy to use paypal, that way they get there take twice. First on the suction then on the payment.

Imagine trying to run a successful business, and everytime someone sends you $100 you get $3 or $4 taken out. Might not seem like a big deal if you only do a few transactions, but multiply that by 1000 ... you get the drift.

...but if you want to run a business and accept credit cards, you're always going to pay commission. 3% is reasonable for small volumes, considering you have no subscription or monthly costs. If you have higher volume, you can always find better options.

That being said, I still hate Paypal. I'll never verify my account for fear that they'll take money out of my checking because some scammer does a charge back (of course, there's seller protection but...).

greenzap is very sketchy...or at least those that are running it. If you are doing it I wouldn't put any real info in your account until there is no doubt it is legit.

Just do a search for "greenzap scam" and then consider if it is worth it lol.

It would be nice if it turns out to be legit though.
