web certs are no longer for personal use. Good thing too since everyone was using them to scam the free sites....

What do people without a credit card use now instead? Some of the offers would have been fine to use a web cert on, such as Pet RX where you have to buy something from them.

I've heard people have been using Simon gift cards and prepaid credit cards from gas stations / banks.

The Simon Visa is my idol.
So great, I just wish you could add funds after you buy them.
Best way to get them is to get it from a mall.

More and more I'm seeing "no prepaid credit cards" in the TOS or on the offers page.
can they even tell if it is a prepaid?

they can when their offers report credit fraud. but for an offer like pet rx there is no reason not to use one.
