Add a new Section called BUY/Sell/Trade

I think that FIG should have a [bdcb451ff55]Buy/Sell/Trade [/bdcb451ff55]forum because it will be easier to use than Ebay, heatware, etc.

1- Because sometimes you will find stuff cheaper or faster on this fourm, you don't have to wait for the auction to end, etc.

2- If you want to sell your stuff somewhere else, then just do it

3- No insertion fees, no final value fees.

4- I am 100% sure than you will find some cheap things here. Sometimes people is looking for cash (as fast as possible) but they can't wait 7 days for eBay, so they are going to use this forum; You pay that user, you got a good price, he got the CASH he was lookig for and both of you will be happy.

- ASk if that user can send the item first (if you are a good trusted user)

- C.O.D (Collect On Delivery) you guys can use this option, it will be safe for both of you, the seller sends the package with this option, the mail guy will give you package only if you give him/her a Monery Order with thea mount of money the seller wants (lets say you guys agreed on $400, so the buyer must give the mail person a Money Order for $400)

- Ask of ebay, heatware, etc accounts, ask seller for his user name and look for his feedback, etc (message the user of that account to make sure that is that person)

- Don't deal with AIM (you guys can talk faster) BUT Make sure that the user of the AIM is the one on this forum.

Yeah, thats a good idea, BUT some people may just get TR to sell and scam, so I think that POSTS should count, Like if you have 10TR and 3 posts, I don't know BUT is weird (DOESN'T mean that user is a scammer BUT it may be)

Ofcourse there will be scammers, like in every other place (there is scammers everywhere including eBAY)

BUT if you want you can just deal with BIG users (you know, good TR< and everything)

I said there were no guarantees because I was referring to eBay as one, you are always granted a refund on listing fees if you are not payed and if you did pay on eBay for an item and you never receive it you can always file a complaint with paypal. I just don't think the trading forum is as big as a risk as an actual item that you did sell on this forum. I think it would be safe to not have a section for this. It would also take more manpower to monitor that part of this board.

After reading retros reply. I change my mind and vote no
on this idea. Id rather take a hit on massive Ebay fees

Ebay has its scammers too. I got a non paying bidder last week and a fake paypal email from an auction winner last night. But it's a much safer place to sell things. And it really doesn't cost that much.

Advertising links sounds good and if the buyer had a question about the item, they could ask in the thread.

I have never ever used COD, I know it's cash on delivery. But how exactly does it work?

You ship the item with an expected amount, the person who delivers it takes a money order from the buyer before he hands over the item. Then they ship you the money order.

i say yes and do it like they do on the R1-forum.com you have to be a member for "x" amount of days...have "x" amount of posts and stuff. It makes it alot safer and i've purchased stuff off of there at 1/2 ebay prices and it works well and faster.

1.this a forum about getting free stuff and this has nothing to do with getting free stuff at all
2. This forum isn't designed for something like that look at all the safe checks we have for trading and there are still scammers we have no safe checks for this and really now ay of implementing any so it would make it very easy for sacammers
3. there are other places for this
4. People don't come here for that

This site is about free sites. There are dozens of places online to buy/sell. It just creates new ways for assholes to scam idiots, which reduces the quality of conversation and business on this board. I don't want to deal with it, and nobody else does, either.

I suggest you try ebay, heatwave, somethingawful, or simply AIM or PMs for buying or selling your physical goods.

I'm sorry that I am going against what appears to be the community's wishes, but I think this is for the best.
