Do you have to take the test that asks you silly things like "How many ammendements are in the bill of rights" and "Who was the writer of the declaration of independence" or is that the citizenship test.

lol i think i'd fail, i'd start saying stuff like "As much as we look up to our founding fathers it can be concluded that they did very litttle as quite a few of them have served as president and to be truthful didnt do much"

no thats the citizenship test.....i think you have to have lived here for about 10 years before you can apply for citizenship. im not gonna do that though....im happy with my citizenship as it is D

yeah it has.......when i was back in scotland in january, there were more security measures in scotland, than here in the US. i was fully searched and probed (verbally not internally lol), my bags were searched, had to take my shoes, hat and jacket off. In the US i was asked to take my shoes off, my bag was put the through the x-ray machine and that was it.

the way i see it is that if something happens here again, its their own fault.

but thanks anyway D

Our nation is just way to divided to acomplish anything, 9/11 was like the only time we were actually united.

Yeah its not Scottland that searched you bad its the US government that made them search the bags and you. When i was coming back from Lebanon through Turkey i got searched about 5 times before i got to the plane. Once i got to the gate i got searched and they held my boarding pass. Once we got ready to board the plane they made me walk with security below the plane to identify my luggage that has been with them the entire time since they searched me. Then security walked me back up stairs were i waited with two arab men ( i am originally from Lebanon but ive grown up in the US) by then i felt totaly profiled so i asked them when i can board cause i was in Zone 1 (first class) so then they first made me translate to the arab men cause nobody spoke arabic and then security personally escorted all of us to our seats. I love the patriot act makes me feel really speacial roll .... but then i had several drinks and enjoyed my flight back home to the US

id love to take this test now just to see how much of a joke I can make it. probably end up taking away my citizenship and deport me. Give conspiracies for all answers

Like for who wrote the declaration?

its widely believed that the founding fathers help arrange for the creation and signing of this document. But newly released evidence clearly shows that Puff Daddy and Ashton kutcher created and signed the document under the psuedonames of Benjamin Franklin and Thomas jefferson.

What was the battle of gettysberg?

Thats when some southside homies had beef with the northside crew and they blasted it out with cannons and shit. That dog Lincoln was crazy pimping and had his troops ready to go against that homie Generalizee LEE. They went out with guns blazing and shit. Some ol school gangsta shit. After the battle lincoln went on to produce three platinum rap albums even reconciling his differences with the southside homies and creating a new album that deaded that north-south beef. they even got M jackson to do the hook. The award winning hit 'bitch better have my money' by Licolon and Lee surely set the morales for this country for years to come.

lol well im finally back....it went ok....didnt get my greencard cos my wife and i couldnt adequetly show that we could support ourselves.....so if i can get a joint sponsor who makes enough money then ill get my greencard....if not, i have to go back home when my visa runs (august this year).

it was going well up until that point, the guy seemed like a bit of a cock also.

so i havent been deported yet, but unless i can find a sponsor then i will be (

other than that it went great! lol

hehehhehe

06-06-2005 14:45:29

Hope you find a sponsor man... I hate the INS, a lot of them are pricks.

I thought the green card was automatic when you married a US citizen. What else do they require besides proof of sustainability (money)?

theysayjump

06-06-2005 19:31:39

yeah you would think marrying a US citizen would make you eligable for a green card right away.

they asked us stuff like when we met, how we met, where we met, my job blah blah blah. that all went fine and he was checking off on a list if we met the requirements for the stage of questioning he was at, and every requirement we got a "YES" except that.

i cant stand the INS either, the forms are so fuckin complicated its unbelievable and if you fill in a form wrong, or miss a part out, you have to do it all over again and shit.

It's all about finding the right lawyer to smooth the process. A good one runs for about 6k for a green card.

If you're not working yet, try to get something! A freelance photog can earn a decent living in large cities...

theysayjump

06-06-2005 21:23:18

yeah i have no money to pay that kinda money for a lawyer, and my temporary work permit ran out 2 weeks ago, so im not officially allowed to work until i get my greencard......plus today at the train station, water was spilled on my camera and now its fucked so im gonna have tos end it back to get it repaired....oh and i dont live in a large city.

so im pretty much fucked on the financial side of things lol
