What's the replay value? 8 hours nonstop is pretty short. Was it worth buying? I hear it's amazing but I would think it would be a little longer.

Yeah, it was a great game. I'd suggest renting it because it is rather easy to beat, but I couldn't put the controller down...

my wife is playing this at the moment and she says its probably one of (if not) the greatest games shes ever played.....and shes been gaming for a long time.
she rented it but doesnt play it for hours at a time, but id also like to know what the replay value is like......cos if its good i could maybe get it.

I don't know how good the replay value is. I wouldn't say it's too high, but it was great none the less. I would suggest you don't play on the easy difficulty level because otherwise you'll beat it too easily and it won't be as much fun...

How was the game? Does it live up to all the hype?..I'm thinking about getting the game,but I don't want waste $50 on an overhyped game.

Like I said, I would rent it. It's a great game and worth the fifty, but I beat it in one day and I doubt I'll play it again....
The greatness of the game was the storyline mostly. So, if you've beaten it once then a lot of the excitement is gone. Again, I'd play it on a somewaht difficult level...
