Have you ever heard of a business called SoCal Rec Wheels, or Southern California Recreation, or Southern California Rec Wheels? (They operate under many names).
They are based out of Irvine, San Diego, Santa Ana, Newport Beach, and probably some other places too...anybody heard of them or know anything about them?
This could be very interesting...I'll explain why later )

I don't believe they are in business anymore...they were cheating people (I was one of the ones who got suckered into buying a $750 motorscooter that never worked). I believe all they did was sell the motorscooters.

Didn't they do a news story on this a few years ago? I remember seeing/hearing something about a business selling scooters that didnt work or that broke within days.
I live in newport... and i have never heard of them

Happened to me last May, 2004...the thing never even started and it was "brand new"
