i did a search and didn't find many answers, only posts listing ancestry as an offer.
1) what does it cost? is there a trial period? etc.
2) i started to do this offer and put in info, but not my credit card on SITE#1. i decided to do another offer on that site. now i'm on SITE#2 and am considering doing ancestry.
because i "signed up" on SITE#1, will SITE#2 consider my actual sign up with credit card as valid? will it help if i use a different email address? what if i use my name again? what precautions should i take in ensuring SITE#2 takes my valid offer as actually valid?
thanks guys!

i did ancestry when i was going for freeipods.com it was a 2 week trial then after that i think it was like $199 or something. The service is cool but since i am a immigrant to this country they didnt have shit on my family. But it was a good offer just keep up with it. The terms may have changed by now i did it in November

Make sure you log out of SITE#1 before you do the offer on SITE#2 (to avoid being credited on SITE#1), and also use a different email to sign up for the offer just in case. Since you never really finished signing up on SITE#1 you shouldn't have any problems. IMO

I looked at ancestry.com on SITE#1 like MONTHS ago....maybe January. i may still get spam from them.....
i signed up on the ref site with a hotmail address, can i sign up on the offer with a yahoo address? will that still be valid?

another question.
how long do i have until they charge my card?
i signed up for ancestry last night and did some searches
i'm still not green 10 hours later.....
i know that's a short time, but a lot of people seem to get ancestry as instant credit.....
