I am a little confused. I was looking through the random users and there are many users with over 40 posts that have the "Broke Rules on First Post" under their name. Why didn't they ban them on the first post, lol!

possibly, the guy seems nice and all, but most of his posts are very cc40 like. I am not a psychologist, and his personality may be very common, but I'd definitely watch out for the guy. I am not saying that he is necessarily gonna steal money from you, b/c I don't think CC40 would actually be able to start a site without getting caught, but he may be using this new alias to trade here as he said he wants to. I don't know just my 2 cents, and I was the one who figured out the whole JesusLizard bullshit.

I am a little surprised and can assure you I am not ClearestChannel40. I am going to step away from this, it was simply an oversight while I was looking through the forum body. Is it that I post non-network related issues? Should I stick to my forums and remain shut out from the rest of you?

I wasn't around to actually see a CC40 post, I will look up some and see what you mean. I really don't know what I've done wrong.

EDIT I just checked out the guy. I really do not know how to defend myself, but I am sure he is probably reading this right now and happy he is getting attention which is what I think. I actually took some psychology courses in high school and college, he keeps making last posts and final words to stir up attention and cause drama, he caused alot on here, and is causing alot off forum. He obviously is just a confused kid. I also see your point, he made alot of worthless posts that went nowhere, I just found this a little funny. I am sorry!

Even Gratis only had about 8 when they were a 5 million dollar revenue company (according to INC magazine). He's also done many, many sites, like CC40.

Why isn't he working on his business instead of making useles posts?

I am officially stepping away from trading and posting and focusing on purely my forums now. I thought I had a good idea by trying to get personal and communicate outside of freebie sites. Bad idea I assume.

If the only link you can find is "alot" and "doing many sites." I feel there are plenty of CC40 suspects out here then.

Your running your own network you should be above trading for other sites. Plus it makes us wonder if your an onld use4r and trying to scam us. Just a suggestion. Just stick to your foum and you can still be nice within your own forum. As much as a friend you want to be you must remember yourrunning a buisness and need to retain a certain amount of professionalism. Not sure if other users feel this way but I just dont seem to understand why you would need to trade since you should be able to get these gifts yourself.

I saw an hpaq and I wanted it. Does it matter If I can take the money out of my wallet and purchase it? I don't think one's financial status should influence them attempting to get a good deal on an item. I just want an hpaq, then I am done. I was going to attempt an iPod for my little brother, I guess that is horrible as well.

Well if Jake started trading today Im sure it would be accepted since he's been here long enough to gain our trust. Actually, there are many things that you could do. You could have at least registered a domain, and put up a message "coming soon..." or something, its not much, but it is a start. If you weren't ready to do that, you could have waited a bit to come to the forums. Since you say the site won't launch for 2 months, you could have waited an extra week or 2 to get more things together. If you think about it, all you have right now is the fact that you have a good little story about a Free Site with PC stuff, and nothing else. On top of that, you start trading. I personally see nothing wrong with you trading considering you have not mentioned anything about not wanting to go first. You are very fair about it. For this CC40, that was before my time here ) so I can't comment on that. I am just going by what I have observed the past two days. I guess the whole point is that everything that you have said so far, anyone could have came up with a good story like that. Thats why people are wanting things to back it up, and there are multiple things you could provide for that (pics of your "partners", screenshots of anything that you have designed so far that you are comfortable with showing, registered domain, etc). I have nothing against, considering nothing is proven about who you are. Just trying to show what could be going through other people's heads. I am fine with everything you have said so far and really wasn't thinking any of these things that other people are thinking, but I can understand where they are coming from. The whole point as you do not have to wait until you ship gifts to start proving who you are and that you are a legit person. Just my two cents )

I discovered FreeIpodGuide a few months ago when I was in the pre-planning stages of the network. I have been doing free sites for about two years to this date.

yeah as soon as i saw the "admin, a gift to you" thread i had my suspicions.

none of the other "network owners" have been trying to get this much attention.

If you are legit, then do as you say and dont post anymore outside your forum. More people will believe you that way.

Jake posts on here when it applies to questions about Gratis or if theres something that interests him, the other network owners stick their forums though.

If you are a scammer or CC40, then id like to know why after all these times you've been caught and banned, do you keep coming back and doing the same thing that gets you caught and banned?

you would've thought that you would have learned by now......guess not.

anyway, i hope you are legit, as do most of the people on here i think.
