Hey guys; as you probably dont remember i bought some Logitech Z-5500 5.1 speakers for my computer, made a post about it, and kinda got flamed alittle. With this i bought a Audigy 2 ZS sound card and everything sounds so perfect. Problem is, in some songs, parts of the song volume are turned down way way way way incredibly really low so much that i dont think its actually playing sometimes so there are gaps in songs where lyrics/guitar parts/effects should be but not. Software, drivers and everything installed correctly for the card and the speakers..whats the deal? Or is it supposed to be like this..

why'd you get flamed for buying some speakers?

does the low volume thing happen in the same part of the same song? or is it random?
If same part, then its gotta be software, if random its gotta be hardware. Could be something like a crimp in a wire, orr could be that ur soundcard or speakers are fucked up.
hehehhehe

If the Z-5500s are as good as the Z-680s (as they are supposed to be), you have nothing to be ashamed of. As you probably know, the volume thing is probably the audigy drivers rather than your speakers. Easier yet, it may even be connection problems if you are using an analog connection. Can you check all your cables and then see if you still have problems? I get problems like that when my headphones aren't plugged in just right sometimes...
If you're using optical out, then try installing another driver?
