Are you accessing the forum @ www.bar-of-soap.com/forum? or forum.freeipodguide.com? If the latter, add the following to your hosts (C\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS in XP) file

just go to the file it says there and right click and go to open with notepad

add the lines he said to the bottom of whatever is already there, and save

I dont really understand you

BUT, you need to go to the etc folder listed in the prev post, and ricght click on the actual hosts file, and go to open with, then notepad

Just go to run and put in the command. Start>Run>command>ok>open with notepad D

2. Select "Run"
3. In the "Open" bar, enter "C\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS" (without quotes...this is different if you're not using XP)
4. An "Open With" window will open, choose Notepad.
5. Copy and paste the following into the line after "127.0.0.1 localhost"

he wants to get in the trade module but cant when you dont edit the hosts file

I tried to walk him through but he cant seem to find the file. He's on XP so it should be in the same spot but supposedly its not. Somebody else should try to walk him through.. I'm weeetodded

Thanks for the detailed instructions. For me, "127.0.0.1 localhost" was right near the top, so when people said to put it at the bottom, it didn't work.
