Hmmm... Why don't we have a forum for offers?

Like the title says.

We get a good number of posts in Off-Topic about offers. We could have a offers forum. Could use a sticky to advise people of offers that are bad at crediting / charge you early / etc. Would be even better to have a few seperate ones like Gratis, OC, Other, etc. Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but it seems like a good idea to me. Kind of like our own "Rate the Offers"

if someone wants to make a thread about offers we may stickie it if its appropriate like it doesnt include cancelation info. But we honestly dont have enough time to make and maintain a forum like that.

I think a stickey wouldnt be so great..you would have to scan through the pages and pages to see feedback on them

Sticky would work if we could get one person to maintain it. If someone can handle it, they can PM them, or post on the thread, then the person can update the main post, kind of like what Popo does with the ref links. I would be willing to do it. I know there can't be any cancelation info, but I would at least like a nice thread to warn people about Ultima Patch, and maybe others that either don't credit or scam you. Also maybe a list of sites you have to return a product for if you "don't like it", just to remind people. Little stuff like that.


Edit Maybe even better to put a forum aside for it, then people can post about offers. I know I havn't been on here for long, but I would be willing to moderate it, if it can be worked out with Admin. I would not allow any conversation about cancelling. It is purely informative, like ratetheoffers.

i suggested this months ago but was told it wouldnt work.

i also thought that a seperate forum would be a good idea but i also know it would take alot of work to maintain.

I understand about the cancelling thing. Can't there be a script or something made real quick to scan peoples posts and deny posting if it contains any form of the word cancel? Even still, I wouldn't mind moderating it. The only thing about a sticky is it getting too sloppy with many posts. Also, a forum would allow people a place to talk about offers like the conversation we had on Ultima Patch recently. Any form of this would still be good... sticky or forum. We will see what the mods/admin decide

Yeah that's a downside, but i also think it would be more benificial as a forum.

Like I said, it would take some moderation....
