DJ mixing with two iPods

What do you guys think of this device...

The main use for a Dj to get this is so he can just show up to a party or club with just 2 ipods and wouldnt have to bring any records anymore. Damn Ive gotten into parties and clubs for free before just by holding a friends record bag. Ive heard it has gain control but it might take a little while too adjust too. Plus if a DJ likes to scratch this is not the piece of equipment he/she is looking for. Dont see why anyone whos not familiar with dj'ing to get this since theyd have to learn how to match beats to mix.

I think it's gay and iPods are overrated.

i wouldn't mine a free one though

I had the digital turntables and I brought it back and decided to get a laptop instead. So much easier. BTW why would you buy 2 ipods?

still wont be able to scratch. Might turn out to be coool after years of development and extra add ons but it still doesnt come close to having tables.

that thing is horrible....as mentioned above, no pitch control....that would make it damn near impossible to match beats...they say its going to retail for like 300, at that price you could get yourself a pair of 1200's and a decent mixer

oh yea good2speed....the gain control adjusts the input levels...has nothing to do with matching beats...

the only thing though, it doesnt have the pitch controll so matching beats would be a pain in the ass unless you ...no it would just suck

I still prefer my Technics SL 1200s.

Without a pitch control, it wouldn't be worth getting if you want to do some real mixing.

i'd definitely do a dj equipment site if gratis opened one

the only thing that i would like to see would be an efex machine...new needles or a vestex 3 channel mixer with rotary knobs
