What Would You Like To See Invented?

id like ziplock M&M bags (i can never open the big bags without the help of neighbourhood wildlife).

instead of cheese stuffed crust pizzas, just stuff the dough with cheese and sell that. no toppings, just the cheesey dough D.

I'd love to see matter transporters invented.

Also it'd be nice to have memory implants, like you could stick a chip in your brain and you'd know the entire encyclopedia or something.

Also, submerged ocean homes would be sweet.

oh yeah, and a system that replaces the current automotive one.. cars that drive themself, that dont have accidents, dont get lost, etc.

the obvious ones like cure for diseases of course, but i was talking more along the lines of tangible every-day items.

i think id like to see something invented where instead of actually going back in time (and fuckin up the future), you could just actually SEE back in time.......like walk around at certain points in history, or your life, watch yourself when you got drunk for the 1st time, or had sex for the 1st time.

it would be safe and harmless and you could do it whenever you wanted.

I think slease has the best ideas of cool inventions for the future.

Memory implants would rock. And you could have all of your personnal learned memory stored on chip. And you could share parts of it with others.

Also if we had teleporters there wouldn't really be a need for cars, maybe just hovering golf cart type of things that would take you a few miles but basically every place should have a teleporter that links to a network.

hovering golf carts sound cool.

doesn't seem like it'd be too hard to hover if they made the roads electromagnets at a negative polarity than the cars bottom. then just stick a propeller on the back of the car.

how about, if all electronics were wireless?

wireless computer, speakers, monitor, printer, tv, dvd player, microwave.......that would be sweet!

I think some of us would have to go FORWARD in time to see some of these things. And a few may have no place in time they can go to see the first time they had/will have sex, namely the 14 year olds with 6000 posts.

yeah, no power cords at all............just think how convenient that would be....just have one wireless box in each room, that runs off batteries or solar power or something, and have everything else "connected" to it.

i was thinking of this since i moved into my current house a few months ago, and in my attic (my bedroom), therte are only 2 outlets at one side of the room, which is annoyingly inconvenient.

if it was wireless, you could move shit to wherever you wanted it.

i know i'm bumping a 3-year old thread, but there's an invention i always wanted and i wanted to give tsj props because he posted this before the movie deja vu came out.

my invention (which goes back 10+ YEARS) was always called the 'real gun'...why i called it that i don't know. if i saw something on tv or in a magazine (cars, chicks, money, cheeseburger) and you 'shoot' whatever you're looking at, it comes off the screen/page and lands in front of you.

i also want a watch that when i stop the watch, it stops time.

I'd like little sticky things that I could put on stuff, like remotes and keys and my cell, etc, that would be detectable. So there'd be a pad by the door or something and I could press "1" and my keys would start beeping. I can't stand not being able to find stuff.

The technology (RFID) for that exists today...it's just too expensive for most consumer applications at this point.

Excellent idea. We had a tv that had a button just so you could find the remote. I want another one like that and for keys and phones etc. That would be cool. wink
