Make a Free Ipod Case!

Well as some of you know i just got my free ipod 20 gig photo and I found the best case for it, and it came with it! If you have a ipod you know there is a clear case on it, it says dont steal music. Well you can take that clear skin off and put it back on upside down so the dont steal music in on the bottom, and then that gets taken away after a hour or two of useing the buttons at the bottom. Here is a pic of the clear case on my ipod. Hope this helps someone.

Also I have a coupon for a " Buy 1 Previously Viewed DVD, Get Second for $5 " at blockbuster and will give it away i can care less about it pm for it frist pm gets it

Hope that helps and saves you 15-25$ on a case that cant even let you see the ipod.

Edit found a pic of the back of the clear skin just remove the frist lip then remove the others.Then you put the large lip that have the sticky thing on it down frist. then the half lips the two little top and bottom ones on the 2d layer then the last one, the larger lip, then your done )

Thanks the great part is you cant even see it so you keep that fresh look but the back will not look good but it will be good under the case tho )

Well, when you flip the case over its at the bottom where the play is so when you use your ipod your finger will remove it after about 3-4 hours of use. )

lol, yea that is what a few people i know do. its way too cheap and doesnt have a good feel so i wouldnt do that

bad idea.. thats so thin its going to get scratched up anyways..

How is that going to happen? did you do it and it still got messed up? its a thin layer but i think you would have to do alot to get threw it.

it's not a "bad" idea. It will protect against most scratches, but just not if the ipod gets dropped or anything like that.

there are a few areas exposed i think, but scratch-wise...I think it will do pretty decent.

yea, ther ewont be any scratches but when i saw it it was kind of loose, i guess if you put that sticker on it (very good idea) then it would tighten it. -D

ya good job ill have to try this if my two friends ever get credited and i get to request approval for my ipod! yay

well just thinking about the type of things that scratch ipods (change in the pocket, loose thing in your backpack etc)

it seems like the thin layer wont rpotect against the pressure of mot scratch makers

i still need something to cover my screen! i have a plastic rubberish case around mine but it would be weise to cut out a peice of that thing plastic and put it on there, i hope it will fit

Not true its really tight i thought it would be lose but its really tight i just put the sticker on there to make sure it will last alittle longer and it makes the back look better too. I guess no one wants that coupon?

I got a really nice clear case form eBay - great case and it was cheap

Careful, that plastic might melt (not the ebayed one the homemade one)
don't get the iCover, I got it cheap from fries and miss my iSkin
(sold iskin with 20g and got a 40g)

Yeah, just like that condom that's been in your wallet for a couple years ;) the skin will warm and get less durable.

thanks, i hope i can just get new ones off people that got ipods and keep on doing that but i dont know how long this will last. I will for sure tell you guys how long it does last.

really, theres like 20 dollar cases, not too much.. my case for my mini before it was stolen was 20 bucks and it worked great.

i suggest a silicone ( i think thats what they are ) clear case

I just coat mine in palm pilot screen protectors. It doesn't look too fantastic but it's quite effective.

You're better off with a Lajo or iSkin skin.

My GF puts her shuffle in an old cassette tape holder, it fits perfect.

Cart, I had the same case and it cratched up my screen really bad, like deep gouges on the screen...

i just carry mine in a pocket by itself

Are you sure is the same one, becuase the one I have is not the one from Apple store, i got it from UK, from this website on UK
