Did any of you guys ever visit New Orleans? It's so sad to think of all the historical stuff that was destroyed. I have Google Earth and I can see all the damage.

sorry, but I would never donate to the red cross.. if you look at their past history, you'll see why.
eg. they collected 500 million+ for 9/11 and distributed 150 million.

Like The French Quarter and Mardi Gras. Jazz and Soul originated there. The parties. The drinks. New Orleans was full of history.

Well since your 23 you should be able to use google and other news service to realize that there was minimal damage done to the french quarters. Mardi gars is a tradition and not a place. Just so happens to be in NO. Im sure once they drain the city everyhting will return to normal. Now if you meant historical stuff like forts and stuff thats being preserved for historical reference is one thing. The parties and drinks which may be cool arent historical places.
[quote48fb1ccf85="mrwzk"] he lives on the opposite side of lake pontritran.[/quote48fb1ccf85]
Where could one find this lake?
