It's time for this stupidity to end. I'm implementing a strict 150 pixel height limit on all sigs. This includes text. If you have an image in your sig, it must not exceed 600 pixels in width.

I'm giving you guys a week to come up with replacement sigs if you need to. At that point the rule goes into effect.

Although this has been bugging me for a while, credit goes to [bb3ff784742]bspence[/bb3ff784742] for finally putting me over the edge

anyways back on subject I was getting really sick of the large sigs aswell until you added the ability to block em that made my day but I noticed that when you added that option everyone took that to mean that it was okay to have huge sigs as suddenly they were everywhere (I use the block feature alot now) but this will be very nice...

The blocking is more for if you find a given user's sig too huge or obnoxious. At this point I'd have to block almost everyone on the forums (at least it feel like) if I want to read them without tearing my hair out. 150px is generous. It's not like this is some really limiting rule. You're supposed to use forums to have discussions, not "show off" terrible photoshop filter use.

From what I understand, there are two different hacks. This one only mentions signatures, but the other one might affect ALL images. The one that was installed before resized ALL images.

I think he's asking how to X out the sigs.

It's the little X button at the bottom of each post, next to the Profile button. This will block that person's avatar and sig.

Disabling HTML will not block images tagged with BBCode, and will cause a bunch of HTML code to appear when people use HTML in posts (like in my sig), which I would think would be worse than looking at the rendered HTML. )

Further, if you'll notice, the [x] was installed at the time Admin made his original post, so obviously he felt it was important enough to make a post about at that time. To be honest, it was Tjwor's crapfest in his sig that made me drag up this post.
