This method has been used since a long time ago. It got me a free Ipod a while ago, but recently, it hardly gets you anything.

It never really works and I hate people that do it. I report all of these auctions to eBay...

I used to do it when not so many people did it.
This would fall under the definition of spam.
It can also get you in trouble with eBay.
