I hadn't used my Cyberpower computer for a while, but it seems it's completely fucked up.
I keep getting BSOD all the time; and the apps keep crashing left and right all the time.
Anyone else having this problem?
BTW, the customer service is sooo bad that I am wishing I had gotten Dell. I had to call them up like a baziilion times and they kept saying reinstall drivers; and now they were saying pull out the 6-in-1 flash reader and I pullled out something else and now it won't even start. Anyway, let's not even get into that shit.
Finally I just got a RMA and I hope they fix it and send it back.

Is this the older model, the xblade? I just got my xplorer from them and everything is fine, but I hear tons of issues with the xblade.

Yeah, with the XBlade.
I think something is totally whack.
It just crashes in the middle of nothing. There is no pattern of anything. It just crashes while just browsing or just typing or whatever.

I used the money from that and selling another Dell printer to buy the parts for a HTPC - it rocks the hosue.

There was actually 2 or 3 other configurations before the XBlade, one of which being the XDreamer which I received. I haven't had any BSOD's, on mine but I do get the occassional freezeup.

I guess it's pointless to try anything if you already RMA'd it, but you could try...
www.memtest86.com
Download, create a bootable cd, and run this for a few hours. If you get any errors at all, you most likely need to replace your memory (xblade comes with 1 stick of 512 mb PC3200).
If you get no errors, it would probably be a good idea to format and reinstall the operating system, especially if you never did in the first place. You could also try an XP repair install, to reinstall all hardware (you won't lose any data).
Might also consider entering the bios and checking the CPU temperature.
