	Definitely good news, at least for me. The stock I invested in which developed VOIP filtering technology for Skype, shot up almost 20% since ebay announced they will acquire Skype.  lol

It was actually pure luck. I originally invested in the company because of the extremely low price per share and that they were selected to help deploy VOIP in some parts of India. I might sell monday since others might too for profit taking and then buy back at a lower price and hold on for a while.

And for a few billion dollars anyway. Ebay just has too much cash they don't what to do with.
Just goes to show that ebay fees are going crazy. Ebay & Paypal already takes like 8-10% of the total sales in fees now for me.

	yup, there's a lot of speculation about this. the thing is, the whole point is to combine 2 markets, 150mil of ebayers with 60mil of skypers, so supposedly it's free advertising that otherwise would cost billions..

	eBay will probably integrate Skype with their auctions, just like they did with PayPal.
Users can contact sellers more easily...
