Those of you guys that use IE - do you run adaware? If not, download it (free) and run it to see how much BS IE allows on to your PC.

people who are paranoid about getting viruses and spyware and all that suff are usually the only ones that get it...

no anyone can get it by viewing normal major websites. IE allows java scripts to be run which allows viruses, spyware, and other malware to install itself. Really dont have to be looking at internet porn or open unknown email attachments as IE has enough holes in it already for exploitation. Not a security expert but Id definetely recommend swithcing over to Firefox if you dont have the latest Virus protection/spyware detection system

I use IE and spend most of my day on the internet. What "major Sites" do you go to that installs mal-ware? I stopped using ad/ spy blockers because for the most part they do not make up for the iD-10t error. Once you have them they will not get rid of them.
I use IE the most and have not had any problems with it... saying that I like Firefox too but too lazy to use it.

firefox has a number of holes in it as well.. its just not as many people are working on exploiting it as there are on IE...
why are all IE's holes exploited? Because most of the people who use the internet use IE... even on Macs.

Does anybody else remember Opera back when it was originally free? The pioneers of tabbed browsing. I didn't like tabbed browsing then but love it now...

Yeah I love tabbed browsing. I never used it before but I always do now. Especially with the click of the middle button on the mouse.

You installed Flash 8 player with AdBlock, didn't you. I'm not going to write out how to fix it unless this is the case, but if it is please say so and I can fix you up good

I'm stoked that opera is free again, but I'm just too much in love with firefox extensions.

barely any of the extensions work in 1.5 (the beta) and anything streaming doesn't work (i.e. flash, windows media, etc..)
so its not worth the upgrade yet.. stick with 1.0.X

Oh, your using the deer park nightly... Flash worked fine for me, but obviously none of the extensions (except for mozdev nightlies) work.
