bicycle Pump Question

sorry for dumb question but i wonder what kind of pump i should buy for a redline bmx 20inch proline junior 2003 i am used to have mountain bike and this is first experience with bmx bikes and i need to pump the tires on the bike has small wheels does it suppose to have it?

Im assuming you use regular bike pump fittings ROFL. Just make sure your pressure doesnt get too high.

yea but it doesnt work my last bike pump wich i had a mountain bike doesnt work on my bmx bike

There are two different tube fittings, presta and shraeder. I'd guess you have Shraeder on your bmx bike, though I'm very surprised you have Presta's on your mountain bike. Here's a pic as illustration.

You can buy adapters foe either valve at your local bike store.

If you're planning on really getting into bmx like I am. Get the compressor it's so handy. Because depending on how old you are its a bitch to walk to the gas station to pump it up. So get a compressor or just go to the gas station.

Btw in case you're a newbie to bmx, pump your tires up to the psi range that is given on your tires. It usually a range of 10. With the psi here your rims will last much longer.

If you're being serious, look at www.bikenashbar.com or www.performancebike.com - both are low price online bike shops that certainly have what you would need.

he's looking for an adapter for an inner tube - the sites I linked will be much cheaper than a specialty bmx site.
