Someone was calling me before and it was thorugh this ip relay thing. i talked and someone was liek delivering my messages. it was wierd. anyone else have this happen to them. its annoying.

Howard Stern uses IP Relay to prank call people. It's a service designed for the deaf/mute; the premise is that the deaf person types a message to the IP Relay operator, who speaks the message to the other caller (and vice versa). So Stern gets the operator to say some pretty ridiculous stuff, pushing them to the limit to see how long they'll maintain their professional composure. I'm sure somebody can find audio of it...

The system was designed to be used by the hearing impared. Unfortunatley, the system is frequently used by idiots to make prank calls and often force the operators to read utterly useless things to voice mail and record them.
As a personal notce, I really, really, really, really do not like it when the system is abused.

Lol I remember this. I would prank call people with this.
Me and my friend would also do this We would have one person type the message and the other person talk to the relay person. We would make the relay person say really weird stuff and I would try to get to know the relay person by asking personal questions. It was funny.

I did this a couple of times to some buddies of mine a while ago then in the end I felt like a dick because that is those peoples fucking job, and I would kill myself if someobdy kept calling me lke that.
Lets all be mature here and not use it.
