Messing with coke Machines

I'm just curious if anyone has done this kind of thing. Like the good ol' 4231 hack and stuff. Or gotten free soda's from the conveyer belt ones by using the tricks etc. I wanted to see if I was the only one or not.

4321 is the debug code to enter into any window/2 in lcd display coke vending machine. You cant change the prices of the item or get anythign for free, you can check how much money is in the machine and you can check what is being sold the most and whatnot. Its cool to mess around with i do it and leave it on the ERROR opition its funny....

The 4231 trick is cool for like 2 seconds in 3rd grade, but it kinda loses its "coolness" becuase you can't really do anything to modern machines with it.

Well like the ones with the conveyer belts. You pick what coke and it's like a mini elevator and it drops on the belt then drops it in the slot. If you hold your hang in the hole it drops the soda in, it will push like 3 times. Eventually it will give up and think it something went wrong. Then you get your money back. So you do it all over pick a coke then get 2 for 1.

Also the 4231 thing, you may get some things with it but most likely not. If you find an older coke machine, it will work. The machines were the selections go vertically down.

You get the idea; They are all numbered. The first one in the row being 1 etc. Push 4231 and you get an error message, then you can cycle through the cokes menu to see things like how many products it sold, how much money it has in it. And sometimes they have an option for a coin drop where it releases all the change from the machine.

yeah i never tryed that but that is the only way to get a free coke, the 4321 only works on 2 inch display

I did that once at a place, but I did not know what I actually did....

Anyway, I gave the drinks to the people who worked there and they kept them. Of course, they gave me one so I would stay quiet.

Just think what they'd do if Coke's caps had every10minutes codes

here is how its done

1. put the dollar in and make a choice
2. after it pushes out the drink and is level with the hole, put a device inside (cardboard from a hanger with fishing line with a hoop sticking out of one end)
3. wrap the loop around the top of one of the sodas near the hole, tighten it right underneath the cap, and simply lift it up and onto the conveyer belt
4. the conveyer belt should still be running so pull the device out and grab one drink and pull it out before the other gets jammed

and there you have it. a 2 for one deal.

that seems like a lot of work for a $1 drink

All that work/risk for a can of soda which you could get for what.. 20 cents a can in a 12 pack?

yea, the freshman figured it out a couple of years ago.

A drunken night freshman year of college I got a full 24 ounce water and emptied the entire thing in the change slot.
Needless to say no one got any soda (free or otherwise) for a few days.

I'm thoroughly impressed.

ya i mess around with the 4231 thing all the time at six flags and stuff. but I've never tried the other one...

Do you just do the 4231 or do you need to put the money then do it?

vending machines that were made by pepsi had a huge glitch at my highschool

you take a dollar bill and fold one corner over even on both sides only like half an inch

the other corner on that side (small side) fold it un-evenly one side being about a quarter inch and the other being about an inch

insert that side into the machine it goes in and pops back out but keeps the credit

me and my friends would keep hitting eject afterwords and it would give you a dollar in quarters

til it ran out of quarters then it did all dimes and nickels lol

they fixed the glitch there after a few weeks but it was great while it lasted and im sure theres some machines it still works on around

when your "cycling" do you have to click something to get 1?

You don't need to put a dollar in for the 4231 hack. Its just something you can do for fun. Some people say you can change the price of the soda, maybe it depends on the version I'm sure. But basically the 4231 thing is useless.

Sometimes the coke guys leave it open on accident, like not open but not latched. So one time someone opened this up, and everyone was like OMFG and news spread to me in like 1 min. So I got up and walked out of class and ran past the APs that where going to it and grapped 4 dr pepers and went back to class. It was halirous, the teacher didnt care at all.

...You couldn't get the money? Or bring your backpack and grab more?

hmm i have only seen the coca-cola conveyer belt machines. but then again my school had a contract with coca-cola. we had like 30+ machines thoughout the school.

I havn't read the whole relpys yet but this is what I used to do. LoL

Really old COKE machines are the best for this. You make like a funnel with a pop bottle and staws. You take warm/hot water and salt. mix the two togather. Stick that end of the straw in the change slot. slowly pour the warm salt water into the change slot. the salt water conducts electricity or something and shorts something. It causes money to shoot out the change return and pop also comes out. I didn't really believe this untill my friends and I tried this about 5-6 years ago. It had to be the funniest thing that happened. cuz it actually worked. I was shocked when money came flyin out. But keep in mind this only works on really old coke machines. I tried this on a new machine.....LOL....poured the salt water in and the machine started shaking and completely shut off. It was hillarious!


EDIT Also try gumball machines. Take a piece of gum and get your quarter stuck in the machine via your gum. Just keep turning that machine cuz your quarter stays in the slot instead of droping into the machine. Just keep turning that bad boy )
