I dont know how many of you run a bunch of electronic devices @ a time but take a minute to post how many you have off of one plug... or 2...
In my Room
Off of 1 plug (1/2 of an outlet)
RCA 27 in. TruFlat TV
Emachines Desktop
Monitor
Scanner
Printer
Cell Phone, iPod, and other electronics charging
AIWA 200w Stereo System
Guitar Amp
Playstation 2
Sega Dreamcast
Speakers for the computer
Most of these are running simultaniously.... How about you?

I've got a 12 port surge protector filled with all sorts of gadgets (all plugs filled), and I think most of them have been running constantly for the past 72 hours; and I've never had any problem.

if you read that carefully you'd have seen that i actually have THREE systems plugged in )
one is my main box, the other is linux for services, development, teaching myself stuff, etc. the mac mini is for when people want to use my stuff. the linux box is headless, the mac and the pc share input devices via a kvm

lol Im just a little biased. Id say about 40-50% of all computers coming back into the store where i work for service in less than a year from purchase are emachines. Thats pretty bad considering we sell Emachine, HP, Compaq, Intel, Sony, Gateway and more brands. Just goes to show you the incredible quality put into emachine computers. roll

i've had my emachine for like 3 years and nothing hardware wise has ever gone wrong (it crashed 1nce cause of one of those system takeover viruses) but other than that its been pretty good

My girlfriend and her mother both have e-machines( P4 & Athlon XP). Ive found that as long as you uninstall the windows version that comes from the factory and reinstall your own copy (eliminating all of emachines shitty software) they work just as well as any other computer.
