Log into your account. Scroll all the way to the bottom (or look on the top) for a Shops link. On the right hand side it should have a link saying "Shop Anywhere". Click that, then enter in any website and a popup will come up with your virtual credit card information.

Click Withdraw, then "Shop online with a PayPal virtual card"
Then just enter a url and it will load a window with the virtual debit card info.

The paypal debit card is cool, but my wallet got pinched in italy and I lost it ( so I have to wait another 6 months before I can request a new one. (like 3 left)

Since your PayPal account is linked to a checking account, is your checking account debited when a merchant charges the PayPal virtual debit card more than your PayPal balance? In other words, if you have $20 in your PayPal account and Acme Widgets charges $50, does PayPal debit your checking account for the difference?

It'll only get balance from your paypal balance - not linked bank accts/credit cards. HOWEVER, your paypal account CAN go negative from a debit card charge if you dont have enough paypal balance to cover it.

which happens if you have, say, $5 in your account and go to a gas station with your card - gas stations usually put a $1 charge to test your card (which paypal will accept) but later "updates" the charge to the full amount. so paypal will be forced to accept the charge (since it got approved already) so your balances goes neg. if you're neg for a long time (like 60-90 days) they'll try to pull the difference out of any associated credit cards or bank accounts.

Hmm just been checking paypal's help documents and i should be able to use a virtual card having a business account, but in my paypal CP i dont have this option...
Could this be because i have a "Debit Card" & not a "Credit Card" ?
