So my girlfriend wanted to buy me something today after we left the mall (I bought her a pair of boots she had seen last night when we went), so we stop by the pet store. I mention it would be nice to have a mouse, because you can't touch fish, and I don't want to have to deal with needing live food for anything else (we aren't allowed to have pets on campus...fish are ok though). Skip ahead an hour or two, I've got a small white mouse (female) (generally purchased as a feeder mouse for snakes) here standing on top of its cage. Turns out the cage they sold me, apparently designed for hamsters, isn't exactly escape proof for her. I've put her cage inside a box for now, so she can't do anything but stand on top of her cage and look around...but I guess I'll be heading back to the pet store tomorrow to find a new home for her.
Oh yea...she loves her wheel but its loud and the g/f made me take it away from her so she could go to sleep ( Now she's bored

grats! mice are neat.
i have a couple hermit crabs and they dont really do much
i also have a few cats who would love to meet your mouse, but they're all freaking spazes
i've always wanted a mouse O
does it feel creepy holding it?

I bought a couple mice for a science experiment a while ago, and when it was over I decided to keep them. Big mistake, those annoying, smelly fuckers are the wost pets ever. I returned them to PetCo, they sold them as food.

Get a gerbil, they dont poop on your arm at all, and also the dont smell like shit all the time!

Most small animals like that smell like shit. We had a guinea pig. Most horrible pet ever. If you could hold him and shit, then that'd be pretty cool, but the pissing nonsense is for the birds. Toss him out the window and make bets on whether he survives or not.

She's been good today, sleeping most of the day (nocturnal). She was likely just nervous last night.
