I used my student discount on apple.com educational store to get $30 off the 30gb video ipod. so it ended up being $270 + about $10 tax. Does anybody know if i would be able to use the discount again to get another 30gb video ipod for the reduced price? You see, I noticed that some idiots will pay nearly $380 shipped for these things on ebay. So I put mine up for auction with 1,500+ songs preloaded onto it along with around 10 music videos and the full Anchorman movie. Other than me loading that stuff onto it and listening to it a few times it is in new condition and i said i will ship it out immediately via priority mail. So i hope the 2-3 day delivery time will be enough incentive for somebody to pay my buy it now price of $350 + $24.95 shipping. It's been up for a couple days now, no buyers yet but i have 6 watchers.
But back to my oringal question, do you think it would be possible to continue to do this? to keep buying ipods from apple with my student discount? If so i can just keep selling them on ebay for $100 profit each.

you can use the discount on one of each thing a year. you could use it on the ipod and a computer but you could not use it on another of either for the rest of the year.

i bought mine on apple.com and didnt need any id whatsoever. I live in missouri and go to a local college near kansas city but at the time i bought my ipod the only college choice for missouri was MU so i just said i went there. They never contacted me to verify if i really go there or anything and i was only charged for the discounted price. I noticed last night that they have now added the school that i go to on their site and i opened up a new apple account with the aol sn i created on my laptop from freepay (it comes with 6 months aol free) So i think i will be able to use my new aol sn and the new school and get the discount again.
