Where to get a 2nd shipment 360????

ok if you saw my other post you know i was out all night long hitting every store i could find but they were all sold out of 360's. Have any of you heard any info as to when stores will be getting their next shipments of xbox's? One walmart that i called said they hope to have more in by the end of the week but i definately wont get my hopes up for that. What would be the best way to get my hands on an xbox and where should i go???

various best buys are getting like 200+ more in a week or two before the holidays.... microsoft planned this out sooooooooo dammmm well they're gunna be making money off the wall this quarter

I already bought another bundle pack for someone through none other than...DELL...yeah you heard me right , they are NOT dvertising it online and god knows how i thought up to call them.

It includes two controlers,the premium system with all the goodies that has, with three games-PGR3,PDZ,MADDEN .andurl==http://=http:///url some more goodies too.

It sells for about 660.

Yea, dell seems like they would be the last pcompany to have xbox 360's for sale though.

thats why it was brilliant. i just thought id pass the info along and not horde it all to myself. lol.
besides it was bought with my g/f's money and was relatively painless...just dont get the spanglish speaking rep's ...unless you speak spanish that is.

im so glad i dont have to camp out again. <this comming from the person who's searched every hole in the wall store on Long island for a damn 360.

BTW if you live in CT you dont have to pay tax.

I got a little holiday booklet in the mail from Dell today and they had the 360 bundle in there.

are they only selling the bundles or can you just buy the premium system alone? I tried calling but its past business hours

Its too bad there isn't a set date for 2nd shipment. I'd be willing to camp out if I knew they were gonna have some. I got owned by target and costco this morning. I was only waiting 7 hours but still

only the bundle as far as im concerned. bu tif cash is an issue. try selling the games independantly with the controler on ebay before christmas...) you should get som e$$ back

i went by best buy today to get a second controller and i asked when they would get more and they said maybe a week or two but they also said it may not be until Feburary so really they have no fucking idea

I heard that wallyworld is getting a second shipment on sunday, that is if they dont have them by friday.

-& some BB employees are claiming that a new shipment is comming in today, to sellon BF

also , hilariously enough some BB employee mentioned to me that BB HAD leftovers and only sold 1/2 of the total 360's they had in stock on tuesday and are saving the rest for Black Friday. & that any employee who tries to buy one will be terminated.

Great. As if BF isnt bad enough.

Do you really believe that? Some guy hosts a page and just makes something up and you believe it, no questions asked? Its no lie that MS is creating a buzz by releasing XBOXs in small amounts but why would BestBuy be involved? If anything this hurts BestBuy because of how many people waited overnight to get one and got nothing. It makes people pissed at BestBuy. All the retailers would rather there be a ton right away so people flock to them and buy accessories and games...

i didnt technically believe it. but i will admit it got my hopes up for recieving one more this weekend as opposed to waiting till the 28th or later.

Ill stroll through, im not camping out again.

but wouldnt it be nice? I mean M$ cant be making money off of this , they lose money on the systems and need people to buy games to make it back. if no one has the systems ...whos gonna buy the damn games?

no it was just best buy out in the desert for that event....

It was a Costco bundle. I got it for $480. $50 for overnight shipping...

And to your comment about what I said, walmart or no other retailer had anything to do with the zero hour launch, best buy was the "partner", "sponsor" or "exclusive distributor" how ever you want to chew it.

Thats what best buy has to do with microsoft, 2 of the largest companies in they're fields, manipulating the market..

Well we will see on Black Friday but there won't be hundreds of 360s at BestBuy. I'd be surprised if there were very many at all.

I didn't fall for anything, I know that MS is limiting numbers to boost the hype. Thats why the 2 360s I got I sold for $1000 each. All I'm saying is that a secret plan by MS and BestBuy would really hurt both of their images and would possibly be illegal. But like I said, Black Friday will tell us all...

I wouldn't camp out. Call tomorrow and ask, there is no reason they wouldn't tell you they are for sale...

I called a couple best buys and the people i talked to were pretty rude, probably cause they have been getting the same question over and over again since tuesday.....but i asked if they would have any more in by friday and they said no and they didnt know when to expect anymore in. They open at 5am on friday so i might try a few that morning. For those of you who have gotten up early to shop on black friday....do you think there will be much of a line at best buy at 5 am? whether it be for a 360 or just people looking for good deals???

I hope not because I plan on hitting my best buy early friday morn...and I refuse to "camp out".

Probably a bunch of crazy moms with strollers, talking woman talk about how their beautician did their nails wrong. Expect about 1/3 of the people to be their for the 360.

regardless of the fact that BB may or may not have them they previously signed a NDA with M$ meaning that even if they DID have them in the back or comming into stock/shipment theyd be vilating the law if they disclosed that to the public ahead of time. thats just simple public knowledge.

what isnt is the random amount of people claiming to have spoken to reps of different authority/status among these stores who have said that they in fact are awaiting shipments today for friday and so on.
One woman actually mentioned getting in 200 units for her store (walmart) , not that any of this can be construed as proof or factual evidence but shit...if this is all a bunch of rumors than someone's done a damn good job.

i spoke with a random old lady from walmart earlier who claimed that a new shipment was comming in on sunday...and trust me she had nothing to lose either way by the sound of her voice.

BTW i MAY be selling the bundle i bought from Dell for the same price i purchased it , this would have to be done quickly if at all ...something along the lines of transferring my account info to yous and so on.

also, some friends of mine who've reserved the 360 at Eb have recieved calls about the second shipment and that its already been recieved. and that they are just schecking inventory to see which pre orderers(?) are going to be next and which will have to wait.

Well like I said, wait and see. I think we can both agree they are going to be tought to get no matter what...

This will mean extra hell. I went by a bestbuy last black friday at about 4 am and there was already a huge line. You should probably roll by there at about 3-4 if you really want one.
