If you watch the UK one (the original) 1st, both series, and then watch the US one......it's just sad what they did with the characters.
You can tell they are trying too hard to be like the UK version, but it just doesn't happen, it doesn't look as real and alot of the scripts are the same but the jokes just don't work (
I'm glad Ricky Gervais stopped making new ones after getting the w Golden Globes. I'd be surprised if this one gets any shrug
If you haven't seen the UK one, try downloading it from somewhere or gimme your address and I'll burn it and send it off to you wink
I can almost guarantee you'll like it more. D

I've seen all the original ones, I saw them a long time before they won any awards, but Ricky Gervais didn't stop making them because he is making the American ones now. The characters aren't the same but it would be really lame if they just made a carbon copy of the BBC one. This one has its own quarks and its really funny. I have a feeling no matter what the American one was, you weren't going to like it.

I love The Daily Show, but since it is on every night, not in my top 3. A couple of years ago, i would have put Nip/Tuck in my top 3, but this season i am losing interest. The Office is also a very close number 4.

I downloaded a season 1 torrent a few months ago, and have been hooked ever since. Never used itunes for video, (or at all in a while.)

Yeah, the season finale didn't answer many questions, I bet they're going to remain in the prison because the prison guard heard them struggling to break the pipe.
