Prices for refferals seems to be stable (for now)

Has anyone noticed that the average price for refs hasn't gone up for a while. Ref prices used to be around $10-$18 long ago but climbed up to
$20-$35 as the ammount of people able to do certain sites diminished.
Maybe its just me but the price of refs has been between $20-$35 for a long time now and i dont see it getting any higher.
I think the freebie has hit the ceiling in ref prices. (When it comes to freepay/OC non OOD/Tranin type sites)

They cant go much higher, just cause the person paying wont be making anything then.

After paying $20-$35, your time isn't worth the profit. If you do high payout places like Trainn, you are still only making a $20 profit.

Well on like freepay giftcards or ipods you could pay $40 for a ref and still make $100

we should have freebie laws, we need to regulate it, so refs are like 5 dollars. if everyone in the whole freebie community excepted 5 dollar refs, everyone would be happy.

On a site like this, it's more like the discounted scene as opposed to the freebie scene.
If someone can't get something for free, I'm sure they would rather have it at a discount, which is what the people who pay or trade for refs get their gifts/Paypal as.
I've been working on OrderPCs4Free for a while now, and by the end of it all, even if I had paid $18 for every single one of my refs, it would have cost me $468, to get $1000. It cost me less since I traded as well, but I credited a trade yesterday where someone paid someone else $50 for a FreeiPods green. That is over the top

i was thinking about that the other day. But then again if we knew about the thing we had and lost no one would be willing to do trades, i mean like shipping and handling is 8 US, come on now P i wish i were back to 15-20 but i wasn't here at that time, when were the prices like that?

There was LONG LONG ago ( 1 year?) $10 used to be enough to get a ref
I joined fipg just as the ref prices were shifting from 15-20 to 20-35

I mean all the newbs would join A4F since they would offer alot more cash for doing the same offers we are paying them $5 to do if the mandatory freebie regulations were made.

sorry buddy but that anit fair. Works alright for me and you, but what about joeschmo who really wants to just do 1 site. He just wants his xbox and he is happy after that. Now if we are forced to trade at a set rate than how does one person choose to trade with one another. It would be strictly on rep and rank.
If someone wants to pay $50 for a freeipod ref then we have to let them. Supply and Demand right?
However the price has been coming down which is great

Hmm
Maybe you should do actual stock analysis and other financial analysis that may actually better you and whatever career you may decide. I mean your just giving us the analsyis of referral prices and what the ceiling is for them. What were you looking for as a response.

I have never paid over $20 for a ref, and it's damn well staying like that.

I'd like to say that too, but there's no way I'd get any sites done in a reasonable amount of time at that price.

Unfortunately, I take a while to complete my sites, and I often end up with many yellows.
I'd probably make more profit by offering more, but people should just be reasonable. Fuck 'em.

The most I've ever paid for a referral was $50, but that was on a doom offer on OC. ~$25 has always seemed fair to me.

I think you meant an economic analysis, and anyone that has taken econ knows that having a price ceiling or price floor for that matter doesn't make sense.
