Yeah I noticed that a while back and kinda forgot to bring those up lol.

for some reason, Admin didn't like my blog.

this is the second one I've had up now... I wrote another article, but failed to turn it in and now it's a little out of date shrugs

just because your article hasn't been up yet doesn't mean i wont ever post it. i just go through and whichever one requires the least amount of editing to be presentable goes up. hint hint.

so Admin, I realize this isnt the official blog on front page thread, but you think I could maybe get a ref for the last one I put in since I dont ahve anyone to give the thing to and all not to mention I already submitted another?

I think he's basically saying that he wants you to put another one of his articles in.

let me clarify... what I said was in reference to this posted when Admin first came up with the idea of us writing articles for the front page.

the 'codes' he's referring to are substitute amazon transaction IDs.

amazon's honor system doesn't allow me to collect any information about donators. i get literally three pieces of information about any given donation the amount, the date, and a transaction id. since i can have any number of donations of any amount on any given day, the only unique identifier is the transaction ID. i have a script that harvests them from my amazon account and adds them to a database. so then i have a list of transaction IDs/amounts. based on the amount (5/7/10) the scripts know which type of feature the donator is eligible for (title-self, title-other, frontpage link) and he/she can go and submit the info for it. then it gets marked as used and is no longer valid.

i also have a list of randomly generated "transaction IDs" that the script is programmed to accept for any of the three features. i hand those out to friends, as replacements if there's site downtime or for frontpage articles. ok? ok.

my article was meant for christmas time. better jsut delete it ;-)
