Going to Chicago!

Any recommendations on what I should do and see? Going be there for about a week.

I live in the suburbs of chicago. great place- go to millenium park but its cold out/ nothings on so it will suck. lol

The museums are good, navy pier is "ok", and...... Chinatown is pretty nice too.

Make sure you check out Wrigleyville, Gold Coast, and the surrounding neighborhoods. The Mile is pretty cool but a lot of the shops are pricey and it's going to be cold as hell. Chinatown is definitely a must so get some bubble tea while you're there. If you dig sushi, there is a place called Bob San (it's not in Chinatown, go to bob-san.com to check it out) that is pretty fucking good. Look on city search to find it and other places to eat. Like theman said, the museums are nice when you need to warm up and Navy Pier is alright but not much fun in the dead of winter. Most of all, dress as warm as possible. Thanks for the tips! Leaving now... its about 4 50 AM! My flight is at 7 30, so yea... takes about 1 hour to drive to the airport + 1 hour to check in ect. C-ya in a week.

I go to college in Iowa but am from Crystal Lake (suberb) and now live in Woodstock (also suberb)..

I usually just get really F'in drunk/high and catch a train to Chicago and walk around everywhere. Watching bums and crackheads is enjoyment enough for me, and it's free!
