Anyone have any opinions on the game???
I believe USC will win by more than the vegas line of 7.5 and the total points scored will be under the vegas line of 69.

texas and I placed an over 69 bet just now on my sportsbook account
texas will get 35 no problem, and even though i think their defense will be the key I think USC will still score plenty.
I imagine just under 80 total

damnit my sportsbook had 70 as the over under... I bet on over 70, now if they score exactly 70 I'll be pissed that mine had 70 instead of 69 haha. Oh well
I also bet the moneyline for texas when it was at +225. I have faith in them
Go Texas. This is one of the best NCAA championships in a long time.
liliEDITlili The moneyline for texas moved to +175, glad I made that bet awhile ago P
damn all these people really think texas is going to win, or they are just from that area or fans? I'm not a fan of usc at all, but know they will win pretty easily.

and why do you think that? I am hardcore into college football stats and numbers and I watch almost every game I can. I know that USC struggled on a few teams with their defense. Their offense generally was unstoppable but Texas's defense will slow them at least. Texas has a good offense also, and USC's defense is nothing to brag about at all.
Just look at the numbers
USC Offense #1 in the country
Texas Defense #6 in the country
Texas Offesne #3 in the country
USC Defense #[b7ace140e95]39[/b7ace140e95] in the country
Texas Averages scoring 50.9 pts per game and average allowed is 14.6
USC Averages scoring 50.0 pts per game and average allowed is 21.3
The only thing I am looking at that worries me about Texas is that USC is third in the league in forcing turnovers with 3.1 per game. Turnovers will be a HUGE factor tonight, as it was last year with OU against USC (lets not get into that shitty game though)
Either way, both these teams kick ass. Either one could blow the other one away. With explosive Heisman winners and candidates on both sides this game is going to [b7ace140e95]rock my socks off[/b7ace140e95].

i don't because i think you have to be 21 for sports betting.

It is probaly 18 online, I know you can play partypoker.com and online casinos that are out of country at 18.
tonydanza92
04-01-2006 13:50:40
technically it is whatever age is required in your state for online poker or betting
in Iowa where I live it is 21, but I have never had a problem cashing out my profits. I can't get in trouble because it is strictly the casino or sportsbooks problem to make sure everybody is of age. If they dont have good enough security it's their own fault. I never lie about my age they just dont check to see if I am old enough where I live.
here's a site if you want to bet just for fun http//pickspal.com/index.aspx?
I just signed up for it today because I won't be gambling for real money for awhile after college/nfl football is over. Maybe a little college basketball until march madness when I go crazy

The Big 12 is one of the easiest conferences in the country. I'm not saying the Pac-10 is impossible but it is harder than the Big 12.

i don't watch football but i want usc to win. texas fans are just too obnoxious so i like it when they lose. in class if someone even mentions texas, there is always some prick that will scream out, "woohoo! go longhorns!"

what?
Big 12 might be the toughest conference in the country. Every year they have the most ranked opponents.
Look at this season, texas, a&m, OU, tech, colorado were all ranked at one point or another. Consistently every season texas and OU have put up top 6 rankings, while having to beat a lot of tough teams
osu, a&m, iowa state.
take out baylor and at TCU and you have the toughest conference in college football.
now this season a&m and ou were both very dissapointing.

Never happens in my school, and I plan on going to UT. And my two friends that are down from UT right now are not like that either, and when I was on the campus everyone was tight as hell. Austin is really nice area love it up there.

usc should have won.. that vince young pitch with his knee on the ground... bull.. usc is the real winner 38-35

Yeah it was. Talk about raising your stock in the draft. Vince Young was probably Top 5 but I think the Saints should take him over Leinart...

however, end the end, the usc defense could not make a stop.
even though i am a usc fan, i would have taken the texans at +225. too bad i didn't have time to get a sportsbook account ...

dont forget the texas interception that wasn't called either
bottem line is usc should have used a time out to give the booth time to review it. but they didnt think it important enough, so go and cry about it
oh and how about leinart after the game
I still think we are the better team.

no money is easy money, but I went out on a limb and bet $50 for this one. I usually only bet $10 singles or $5 parlays and I make a steady income.
And your last post is right on every single point D
And this
[quoteebeaea9e22="justinag06"]

right on there, 79 total!!
nice..

05-01-2006 00:44:51
yeah it was a good guess
one major mistake i noticed early from USC
by the way USC's main problem in this game? Pride
now early on their second drive in the 20 yd line, they go for 4th down, miss turnover on downs. As the score was 7-0 I dont see why not kick the field goal. Texas has a good defense and any points you can score ahead of them should be looked at like good points, that field goal takes the game to overtime.
also reggie bush early on with his unecessery lateral. After a tremendous run, one only he could pull off he isnt satisfied with first and near goal so lets toss the ball to a tight end who is trying to block for me, not even expecting this toss.
USC's pride lost them the game
great second half play by them though
