You use roughly ~8MB of G-zip compressed database space. The bible zipped is 2mB. That means you have used/wrote 4 times more information than the Holy Bible itself.

Just thought you may want to know.

what is this about anyways

Went to stats and saw 3% of all posts are by him. Went to database size and multiplied it by .03, rounded that down. Took out 1mB for good measure (probally in reality it should be 2mB or 3mB). Because you have to compensate for headers and that maybe his average post size is not the average of everyones. Looked up the bible compressed on google, saw it was 2mB.

I was suprised when looking for a plain text document of the bible that a lot of people where asking paypal for it, and it was not cheap 15$+ for something that should be free.

Charging for the Bible doesn't seem right to me, unless it's a special limited edition set with a poster and an extra book with alternate endings and bloopers. shrug

The database isn't gzipped, and there's TONS of data that isn't posts (i.e. users, trades, and most of all, PMs). If I gzipped down his post data i'm sure it would be less than 100k.

gzip compression enabled means the server supports sending pages gzipped to reduce transmission time.

99% of the time, you could walk into a church and request a bible and they will give it to you. Granted it probably won't be a hardcover study edition with red letters, but if a church is doing what it should be doing then they will sincerely want to help you and give you the Word.
