Printing a wall poster....Anyone seen this?

Hey guys...I live in a dorm and i'm sure you've all seen people print HUGE pictures with there printers and just tape them all together but last semester i was at some dudes house and he not only printed around 40 pages to make one large poster but it looked like some sort of pointillism...

He said there was some website that allowed him to do this but couldn't remember the name of it...Im hav'n some trouble finding it and was hop'n someone could help me...

Anyone know of the website that helps transform a reg. Jpeg. into a Picture with pointillism...Then again im to lazy/busy to check but does photoshop allow this...

probably. this is taking me forever to cut the borders on these fucking pieces of paper. i have been at it for like an hour. it will look good when its done though. 9 horizontal sheets by 8 horizontal sheets.

ahh. finally done. i had some complications when it came to the ceiling. i shouldnt have started from the bottom the FIRST time. i had to restart about 3/4 the way through evil and restarted from the top. i finally finished and i think it was worth it. gisele bundchen has never looked hotter. here is a pic of the final product

nope, i go laser. i didnt just clean it for you all, i just cleaned it all together. there is a bunch of blankets and pillows on the other side of the bed and there was a step ladder and paper scraps on the bed earlier.

it depends on what you do googler. upped the max dot size to 17mm because my picture was 9 sheets across by 8 down horizontal.

think i am going to do another today but smaller. i am thinking will ferrell and chris kattan in the car in a night at the roxbury.

awesome... but what i don't get is how to view all the thumbnails at the same time. i downloaded their standalone software and got the final pdf... but the only way i see of looking at all thumbnails on one screen is to hit "Pages" and expand that... and even then i get the thumbs in different order... here's what i'm talking about...

Yeah, the dots are really big. There aren't any distinguishable features on the face. I printed this at school so I wouldn't have to use up ink at home so I didn't know what it would look like.

My latest poster, Steve Prefontaine, great runner, found it fitting for my dorm room since i'll be running in college... took a long time to cut the edges, there's a few pages that don't line up exact, but with so many pages you can't really tell... it is 12 X 7 pages... I Like it )

Sorry to bump, but this part I cant figure out. I dont think any of my Photo Editors support PDF. Help?

Also, to those of you who have done it, is it really ridiculously hard and painstaking to put together? I'm using photos as well, which are a lot smaller than paper, so to get a big poster Im going to need a lot of photos.

Did you just glue the photos to the posterboard? (It seems like it would take forever and not stick well enough.)

It would be easier to do it on the poster board. You can make sure it's not crooked and then you can hang it up on a wall.

Since I stuck mine on the wall piece by piece, it came out ugly.

Unfortunately, I cant find a color version of the third one. I looked all over, so I'm thinking maybe it was originally in black and white.

Thanks for the pic, wow. Yeah, I was thinking it would look cool if it was tinted blue like Underworld, but I dont know how to color a black and white picture. Anyway, her eyes look amazing in that pic, if you can successfully get them blue, post it, I'd like to see D
