I'm thinkin about transferring colleges and changing my major and basically reworking my whole plan for the future. I wanna become a sound technician and work with recording equipment (setting up, running, maintaining, etc.). I live in GA and I've looked around and can't find much in the way here. Any suggestions about what I should do? I figured if I could find like a technical college or sumthin to get a degree in Broadcast Technology I might be good to go. Dun know tho......

Go for a place you can get hands on training, don't go with a music degree. There are tons of schools in large cities that offer degrees for what you are looking for, and there is good money in it.

Thanks Stroid, that actually helps me out more than you could imagine. All that I gotta do now is decide if this is the direction I wanna go or not.
