I was bored, and i had an extra power supply, an extra amp, and these subs sitting in the corner of my room for the past year. The subs are 12" rockford fosgate punchZ. They are pretty low power, 150 rms each. The amp sux, but its the only amp i have that will get power from a computer power supply. It is only powering one sub 150 watts. I used the yellow wire for the power and remote, and the black for the ground. I had an rca to mini jack adapter laying around to hook up to my computer, and some speaker wire to bridge the channels to one sub. It sounds pretty good, shakes the house.

Man.. I've never seen this many subwoofer haters in my life. What's up with you guys? Obviously, you've never been in a car with beat; it's an amazing feeling. I love driving with bass.. There isn't any sensation in my life I would take over feeling my ear drums vibrate.. even if it take 3000 + watts and $1000 +. Hey Shorty, do you think my Phoenix Gold xenons will hold up to 800 rms each at .5 ohms, if their rated at 500? I'm getting a Ma Audio amp that can push just that.

The difference here is that he has it hooked up in his room...

All 4 coaxials are kicker 5x7's )

I have a full dynamat kit...but I'm getting rid of the 1999 Taurus this is all in, so I'm saving it for the new 2002 Lincoln LS ) Not sure if/how I'll install the head unit into the LS, though, as it has a built-in Alpine CD Changer )

I had all the parts just laying around collecting dust. I didn't do it to get around buying a home theater system. I just wanted to see if it would work and how it would sound.

Wow a full dynamat kit...i realllllly want that, how much did you pay for it?
