Which monitor at Trainn's flatscreen is most valuable? I looked at best buy and comp usa, and they don't have most of those models. Any idea which one I should get?

Why not go for which one is the best instead of the one with the biggest price tag? shrug Price isn't always an indication of quality.

I went through this decision myself, and it wasnt an easy one.
For 5 refs, the dell is the most valuable, hands down. For 8 refs, none of them are that great.
I had 5 refs, and another went green, so I went for the full 8. There isnt any payapl at 8 refs, so I went with the LG monitor.
Being Canadian, the order was made through futureshop. I ended up getting a different LG monitor than I had ordered, one without DVI input, which is very important. I was able to take it to a brick and mortar future shop and exchange it for a $450CAD giftcard, which i used to buy a Samsung930B, which I am very impressed with.

Actually, the Dell monitor at 5 refs is worth more than the dell monitor at 8 refs...

I'd take the Paypal, I'm not sure you could get much more cash by reselling any of the monitors.

take the paypal and b uy yourself a monitor since the best one there is the dell 1704fpt or fpv and you can find it for 210ish before tax sometimes if you stack coupons.

95% of the time it is. Higher price --> more money put into the product --> more quality

well this is the 5% of the time where it isn't since the dell is a quality panel. i would be getting it if i didn't find the sweet deal i did with a viewsonic vx714. was only $215 at buy.com and it has crazy fast advertised response time and from the looks of it, it's a great monitor for gaming and movie watching. no ghosting at all on this but i hear nothing but praise for the dell
